Human Instinct In this world full of super heroes I am my own hero Troubles will always come Dropping the temperatures to zero Though I feel haunted I won’t go for revenge Cos I hate such a journey Plus the two graves I shall have to dig But,a new chapter it will set In my book of life For better things to come Life has never had a guide book So be it,a day at a time Pundits might say,I live in oblivion But the hell I know Cynicism is a choice Hope,a better choice.

Crow's second Lesson Crow flew about the coastal strip  Enjoying the scenic view of mother nature Then he stopped Stopped in his tracks By the change of scenery Worn out corrugated iron roofs Newly dug graves, small in size, carpeting the entire village Young innocent blood, now gone cold, crow mused He flew closer, trenches full of effluents flowing freely Flowing freely on this people, poor people's land The company's structure, imposing itself Like  the statue of liberty No standard operating procedure, from the central government It seems, impunity reigns supreme Where does this community's future lie? If the graveyard is full of dead children's bodies? Leaving the aged and the youth weak and worn out this is decimation, full scale decimation why does money poison government officials minds? To an extent of unleashing poison,on the innocent innocent poor, people,in the name of hiding hiding behind the walls of bureaucracy and draconian laws.

I came to your country Not to intrude your space,or keep you out of job But to pull together,to enjoy your spirit of ubuntu And work towards the African dream As envisioned by Mandela Now you treat me with more hate Than you had against the apartheid regime We are all blacks brother Why the black-racism? witwatersrand may be sweet, but blood is thicker The pan-african spirit may be aged, but we are one people For what its worth,With a common destiny! We were there for you in your darkest nights We were there for you in your darkest times Lend a helping hand in building,Umkhonto we sizwe Lend a helping hand in lobbying for trade embargoes against the apartheid regime Lend a hand in training your troops for armed resistance against the apartheid regime Now I wonder where were you When my countrymen were set ablaze, for owning businesses in your country When our businesses were being looted, When my countrymen were battered by your police for speaking out I know,this...

Life is a mystery,My mama said What is in your head, doesn't matter What if today was your last? Yes my last. You can put up firewalls, complete with blueprints, But what is meant to be,is meant to be. Sometimes,we keep people out of the loop By burning all the bridges we ever came over But we are all human,we crash,we bleed and break down at times With mr.Captain destiny in command, Your words in my head, your knives in my heart You blow me up and I fall apart,  I can't keep the weight of the world The only thing I can,is pick  up all those broken pieces Rebuild a new structure of myself And come back stronger than ever I can do it,oh yes,I can do this!

Cupcakes and root beer Café tables and bar stools Staying high, running low All alone in this crowd A stranger in the mirror Not everybody lives but everybody dies Married to this game of life But she keeps breaking her vows Confessions to the priest Given penance I can’t petition Staying high, running low No longer at peace, yearning for blitz Hand over heart I am praying But the heart keeps on fighting  for what it wants Hope I am gonna make it out alive This is a modern fairy tale it seems With no happy endings Keep your advice to yourself Coz I no longer care Only time and fate  Is gonna be The end of me. .

What crime did I commit? By giving audience to those armed groups And that widow who lost a son in Mexico Does it qualify me to be a terrorist?
